Travellers are the designers of constant change...

We are all travellers through this universe, but we are also the designers of our own lives. Many things change during this journey, but there are also objects that we carry with us for many years.

Don't the meanings we attach to the objects we can't leave behind put pressure on us over time? 

As we change and renew over time, what values do we recognise and learn? 

Is it possible to move forward without contact, without leaving a trace, without any kind of interaction?

These questions show that our journey has not only a physical dimension, but also an emotional and cultural one. And it is in this context that the Passenger Collection tells a story that combines the heritage of the past with the values of the present, beyond a mere design journey.

The metal pieces in the Passenger Collection are made in collaboration with artisans in Istanbul's historic peninsula and Grand Bazaar. Our designs support this heritage and the sustainability of the region, while keeping alive traditional metalworking techniques dating back to the Byzantine period. The unique production network in the Historic Peninsula contributes to the preservation of the region's unique structure, which we call our Intangible Cultural Asset.
