PASSENGER Collection 2021
Travellers are designers of constant change...
We are all travellers in this universe, designers of our own lives. As well as things that change during the journey, there are also objects that we carry with us for years. The meanings we attach to these objects change over time, we learn and transform.
We produce the metal pieces of the Passenger Collection in collaboration with craftsmen in Istanbul, the Historic Peninsula and the Grand Bazaar. We keep alive the region's traditional Byzantine metalwork and support both this heritage and the region's sustainability through our designs. The unique production network in the Historic Peninsula contributes to the preservation of the region's unique structure, which we call our Intangible Cultural Asset.
