A new project is starting.

Founder and head chef of Nicole Restaurant, Aylin Yazıcıoğlu, and founder and designer Özlem Tuna of Özlem Tuna Design are switching places.

Will experience CHEF DESIGN, DESIGNER COOKING.

Sibel Kutlusoy will mentor the project and photograph the process.

"After owning a design company in Istanbul for over 15 years, it is true that I am a little bored with my design materials. What kind of boredom, you ask? Actually, boredom may not be the right word. I wonder if as one learns on the journey of life, they start to question more, do they start to delve into the background of whys and hows?

As I started to think more about "Is there a need for another coffee cup or a ring in this crazy world of production and consumption? ", I realized that my friendship and sharing with Sibel Kutlusoy was increasing. We really talk a lot about the connection between design and food. Right at that moment, dear Sibel started to organize #FoodandDesign talks. She started to organize very enjoyable meetings hosted by Nicole Restaurant's founder and head chef Aylin Yazıcıoğlu. I was a guest at one of these meetings that I followed with interest. Did this project come about because I started to know and discover how much we have in common in life with Aylin Yazıcıoğlu? I don't know...

We are all very excited.

The designer and the chef will switch places for a 4-month program. We have started an interdisciplinary experience journey. Sibel Kutlusoy will be our mentor and photographer during this process. We plan to share the process as much as possible. And we plan to end this project with a dinner and an exhibition.
